Verne E. Beldin

Verne E. Beldin, 56, 1723 South Eighth street, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He had resided 37 years in Council Bluffs and was a mechanic at the Giant Manufacturing company.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dollie Beldin; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Brokman of McClelland; a brother, Volney Beldin of Pacific Junction, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p. m. at Woodring's chapel, with burial in the Plumer Settlement cemetery. The body is at the Woodring funeral home.


Verne E. Beldin Buried Friday in Mills County

Verne E. Beldin, 56, 1723 S. 8th Street, Council Bluffs, died Tuesday, February 19, at a Council Bluffs hospital.

He resided with his family on the Sam Welch farm south of Pacific Junction before moving to Council Bluffs. He was a mechanic at the Giant Manufacturing Company.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Woodring Chapel. Burial was in the Plumer Settlement cemetery in Mills County.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dollie Beldin; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Brokman, of McClelland; a brother, Volney T. Beldin, of Pacific Junction; and four grandchildren.
