Hold Rites for Mrs. William Horn

GLENWOOD, Ia.—The funeral of Mrs. William Horn was held in the Mineola Lutheran church on Wednesday afternoon, brief preliminary services having been held in the Glenwood funeral home previously, conducted by the Rev. O. C. Biermann. burial was made in the Plumer Settlement cenetery. Mrs. Horn, whose maiden name was Adelheid Lazenhausen, was born in Hanover, Germany in 1869 and died on Jan. 8 at the farm home of her son, John, near Mineola. Her husband preceded her in death in 1933. Mrs Horn had been a resident of America since 1891. Twin children, John Horn and Lilly Grudle, survive, as well as four grandchildren.


Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Wm. Horn

Brief funeral services for Mrs. William Horn were held in the Glenwood Funeral Home and later in the Mineola Lutheran church on Wednesday afternoon, and interment was made in the Plumer settlement cemetery. The Rev. O. C. Bierman was in charge of both services.

Mrs. Horn was born in Hanover, Germany, June 10, 1869, her maiden name being Adelheid Lazenhausen. She came to America in 1891, and was married to William Horn, who died in 1933. Mrs. Horn passed away on January 8, at the farm home of her son, John, near Mineola. Twin children, John Horn and Lilly Grudle, survive, also four grandchildren.
