HOLD FUNERALS FOR VICTIMS OF LAKE


HERMAN WOLF AND LOUIS KIESEL HELD FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.


Funeral services for the two men, Herman Wolf and Louis Kiesel, drowned in Lake Manawa while hunting last November, were held Friday and Saturday at the Cutler mortuary.

Services for Wolf, whose body was recovered Thursday evening, were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and services for Kiesel, whose body was recovered Friday morning, were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.

Pallbearers at the Wolf services were G. M. Jarrett, Albert Smith, W. J. Hambert, C. C. Morris, F. C. Kinney and J. F. Phillips. Members of the Modern Woodmen of America lodges of Minden and Hancock had charge of the services at the grave. Burial was in the Silver Valley cemetery south of Minden.

At the services of Kiesel Saturday morning relatives acted as pallbearers and burial was in the Plumer cemetery beside the body of his brother, Ernest, the third victim of the drowning last November.
