Services Held for Mrs. M. Lemonds
Passed Away in Omaha Hospital After Several Weeks Illness
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Raynor Chapel in Glenwood for Mrs. Marlin Lemonds, conducted by the Rev. George Durkee of Pacific Junction. Music was furnished by Mrs. Lyle Coddington accompanied by Mrs. Charles Gipe. Pall bearers were Kermit Hillyer, John Bayes, Kenneth Grindle, Allen Norton, David Angus and Clifford Stile.
Caring for the floral tributes were Mrs. Kermit Hillyer, Mrs. Floyd Gorman, Mrs. Millard Curtis, Mrs. Harold Isom, Mrs. Clifford Stille, Mrs. Dallas Clites, Mrs. Frank Hillyer and Mrs. Ellis Grindle. Burial was in Plumer Cemetery north of Glenwood.

Ruth Ester Fullenwider, daughter of Joe and Sophia Fullenwider, was born in Burlington Junction, Mo., March 28, 1916. When she was
three months old, the family moved to Iowa and lived in Oak and St. Marys townships south of Council Bluffs for a period of 28 years.
In 1944 they went to a farm nine miles south of Malvern.
She was united in marriage to Marlin Lemonds on Jan. 25, 1948 at the Strahan church. They established their home two miles south of Strahan.
She was a member of the Strahan Methodist church. She taught a Sunday school class and was active in the cuurch work. She was a member of the Rural Youth organization and the American Legion Auxiliary of Malvern. Ruth was a happy girl, full of the joys of living and vitally interested in her felow man. To know Ruth was to love her.
In October of 1948 she began to fail in health. All was done that a loving husband and family could do, but she continued to decline and entered that eternal rest late the evening of Aug. 6, at the age of 33 years, four months and eight days.
She leaves to mourn her untimely passing, her devoted husbnad, Marlin Lemonds, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fullenwider, all of Malvern; one sister, Mrs. Max Shook, of Knobnoster, Mo.; three nieces and one nephew. Besides these there are many other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors.

Last resting place was in the Plumer cemetery north of Glenwood.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Martin Lemonds were held Tuesday at the Raynor Funeral Home in Glenwood at 2 p. m. with the Rev. George Durkee, Pacific Junction, officiating. Burial was in the Plumer cemetery.
Mrs. Lemonds had been confined to St. Catherine's hospital in Omaha for several weeks and passed away Saturday. Her survivors are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fullenwider, and sister, Mrs. Max Shook of Knobnoster, Mo.
