Pacific Junction, Iowa, August 10, Special Correspondent—

Christian Neimoller, 86, passed away at his home in the Pony Creek neighborhood north of town Sunday afternoon at four o'clock. Mr. Neimoller was born in Germany and has lived in Mills county for many years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Caroline Windell Niemoller, three sons, Fred of Glenwood, John of Mineola, and Charlie at home; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Wall of Council Bluffs and one brother, Henry Niemoller of Woodbine.

“Pastor” Niemoller, who has figured so conspicuously as one of the prominent church men of Germany, who has been persecuted by Hitler, because of his defiance in defense religious freedom is a distant relative.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the country home at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. O. C. Bierman of Mineola officiating.

Burial will be made in the Plumer cemetery with the James Funeral Home of Glenwood directing the service;
