Mrs. Catherine Schroeder, aged 83, died of general decline after eleven days' sickness at 6 o'clock Monday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Evers, 2400 Avenue A. She had been a resident of the Plumer settlement for thirty-four years, and belonged to the German Lutheran church there.

She leaves three sons, Henry, of Brooklyn, N. Y.; Carl, of Plumer settlement, and F. Schroeder of Pender, Neb.; and one daughter, Mrs. Fred Evers, at whose home she died.

There will be a short service at the residence at 10 o'clock Wednesday. Rev. C. J. Ringer will have charge. The funeral will take place at the Plumer Settlement church at 2:30, Rev. Mr. Huff officiating.


The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Schroeder was held from the residence, 2400 Avenue A at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. C. J. Ringer conducting the services. The singers were Mrs. F. L. R. Hansen and Miss Elsie Schonberg. The pallbearers were T. N. Peterson, Mr. Waltman, John Evers, John Wortman, Mr. Brockman and Mrs. Brandt.
