The funeral of John Ed Spethmann was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from the Lutheran church in Plumer settlement, Rev. C. J. Ringer officiating. The pallbearers were: Fred Spetman, Henry Spetman, Carl Spetman, Fred Beck, Adolph Beck and John Beck. Burial was in the Plumer Settlement cemetery.
